Sunday night, alt-pop singer-songwriter Christian French brought his Bright Side of the Moon tour to the Doug Fir Lounge.

ASNT opened up the show with a fantastic set. The multi-instrumentalist bounced around from instrument to instrument sharing his mix of pop, R&B, and jazz influence.

A shining moon lit the small room as Christian French came out to screaming fans crowding the stage. Following some break out hits, such as 2016’s “Fall For You,” and Spotify playlist spots, his fan base quickly grew, earning him spots on tour with the likes of Chelsea Cutler and Quinn XCII. Now, French is hot off the heels of the release of his new album, bright side of the moon, and on his first US headlining tour.

French bounced around the stage during his electrifying, high-energy, and interactive set. His personal and story-based lyrics flowed beautifully in both his upbeat, pop-drenched tracks, as well as his slower ballad songs played at the piano. His rendition of “Happy Birthday” also made an appearance as he invited his niece on stage to celebrate her birthday.
