Fans packed into the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on March 30 for James Bay and opening act Noah Kahan.

The tour is in support of Bay’s most recent album Electric Light, released last May. Following the cancellation of the album cycle’s fall 2018 tour, this stop was the rescheduled Portland date.

Noah Kahan put on a fantastic set and the crowd loved singing along to his hits like “Hurt Somebody,” which has already gone platinum twice in Australia.

James Bay’s passion, energy, and enthusiasm on stage made the 2,700 capacity room feel like being at an intimate set. Kicking it off with “Pink Lemonade” to closing out the night with “Hold Back the River,” Bay covered everyone’s favorites, both old and new.
