Mom Jeans. shreds energetic Portland set

Last week, Mom Jeans. rolled through Portland's Crystal Ballroom on an iconic 4 band tour lineup alongside Microwave, Joyce Manor, and The Story So Far. The sold out tour date encapsulated everything I love about pop punk shows and why fans always come back for more -- the buzzing, passionate excitement, hearing the crowd scream every word, and the endless crowd surfers moving through the venue.

Mom Jeans. is fresh off the release of their latest album, Sweet Tooth, which dropped back in February. While this album marked a shift from the grittier sound of their first releases to a more explosive, pop-influenced LP, their set was just as exciting and energetic as ever. After Microwave kicked off the show, Mom Jeans. took to the stage.

The set list was the perfect combination of lots of new tracks, like "What's Up" and "Something Sweet," which fans were able to hear live for the first time, some more chill tracks like "Crybaby (On the Phone)," and a few old crowd favorites like "Shred Cruz" and "Edward 40hands" to start and end the set.

I loved watching the band interact on stage, making it feel like a jam session with friends rather than a packed crowd over over 1000 fans. If you ever have the chance to catch Mom Jeans. live, pick up your tickets quick!
